ABOUT THE PODCAST

Ana and Ivana became best of friends in a Historical Archeology Master's Program in Boston, and their friendship was cemented in the summer of 2017, when they shared an excavation pit (and pretty much everything else) for over a month in the hot New Mexican desert. As archaeologists, they love studying objects and things from the past, but their passion for history and funky objects didn't turn into a podcast until they started sharing their love of paranormal and true crime podcasts with each other. Somehow their constant use of the phrase "Where Did it Come from? Where Did it Go?" spawned the idea of the podcast, and the rest is history!

IVANA

My specialty as an archaeologist is plant remains. I currently have four plant-children: a monstera named Isabel, a snake plant named Severin, a fuzzy cactus named Weetzie, and a two-pronged cactus named Fred & George. I also have a dog-hter named Orly. I like to go hiking, eat iced cream, paint, and be at the beach. I like all things weird and spooky.

ANA

As an archaeologist, my specialties are animal bones and maritime history (unfortunately these are two things that don't always go together). But as a regular human, my passions include anything to do with the ocean! I have even been known to cry when separated from saltwater for too long. I Scuba dive, swim, snorkel, surf, and am really interested in shipwrecks.  I also love crosswords, cats, exercise, and a good draught beer.
